HEYA! It's been a while huh...oops. I'm still totally readjusting to life and trying to adpat to crazy american schedules again. We've been soo busy, it's been a trying couple of weeks. But totally amazing....the U.S. rocks. LOVE rochester and I'm soo happy to be home. Serious.

So we got a house! YAYAYAY! I can't even believe it. I'll take pics early this week and put them on my website. It's a super cute 2 family (built as a 2 family), made in 1893, right in heart of park ave. We're sooo flippin' excited and totally need renters now. If you know of anyone..send them our way! haha.

We're currently in the Adirondacks for our 1st anniversary. I guess it's meant to be that we bid on a house on our 1 year anniverary!! Man...life moves quickly. We went on a 7 mile hike today (that did not go quickly). It was up to the top of Wright Mountain in the High Peaks area near Lake Placid. It's totally amazing up here. The B&B that we're staying in is soo cute. Dave is giving a trumpet lesson to the owners' son as we speak. HA! Anyway, it was great to get away from the crazyness of our immediate lives in Rochester but dang...we got a house! So now I want to go back! hahaha

Gotta get back to practicing. This is a good hang for musicians..we can practice here..and they make a KILLER, BIG, FAT american breakfast. Love it! It's called Book and Blanket Inn, in the town of Jay, NY...check it out!!

We're here and settled..sort of. haha. But we're here! YAYYAYAYAY! Tomorrow is Cheddar's 2nd birthday..what should we do? Give him some tuna? haha. He's totally happy to be an american. He's adjusted and loves roaming around the huge house that we're staying in.

We had a safe trip here. It was pretty hilarious b/c we checked Cheddar with our luggage and then we boarded the plane and there he was! I guess they didn't want to pressurize the lower cabin just for him so he hung out with us the whole 18-hour plane ride and didn't meow once! Sooo good. I felt bad though b/c if people have allergies to cats that would suck...but it wasn't our call. And we were happy to hang with him.

Anyway, we arrived in Brooklyn at 7am and went out to breakfast in Brooklyn with Jen. YAY! We then had to drive through lower Manhattan to get up to Rochester so we made a stop in Magnolia's. When in lower manhattan how can you not go into Magnolia's! HAHA...we just finished the 8 cupcakes that we bought yesterday! hahah.

So we've been house and car shopping this week. Wow. How crazy after living in totally different living conditions. We feel incredibly lucky. We founda car yesterday and are picking it up tonight. Can't believe it. It's a 2005 blue prius. Love it. LOVE it. We no longer have to depend on taxi drivers to function in life. It's amazing. Ahhhhh.

The jazz festival is going on right now so we're trying to see as much as possible..but we're still crashing at 10pm and waking up at 5am. I can't believe how long the days are. It's nuts that the sun doesn't go down until after 9pm! That's nuts!

I can't believe we're back. We'll have cell phones in the next few days. Dave's number will be 585-690-8136 and mine will be 585-690-8137. YAY!

We leave tomorrow. Weird huh? We're busy meeting with friends for the last time and trying to pack at the sametime. It's hard to digest everything right now but we're soooo excited to leave and soooo sad to go all in one! I must say though, it's time to move on. All right, well, for the last time from Thailand (for now)...Sawadee Kaaaaaa!
